In the Analog-controlled mode the output currents of the 4 LED channels are set by the external input control voltage ACTRL.

The current range of the output channels is mapped to an input voltage range of ACTRL from 0 V to 10 V. The output currents of the 4 channels are directly proportional to the voltage ACTRL:
IChannel[mA] = ACTRL[V]/10 × MaxCurrentOfType
If the level of ACTRL is above 10 V, each current is limited to the maximum allowed channel current (MaxCurrentOfType).
If the LEDs are off, ACTRL must be higher than MinCurrentOfType/MaxCurrentOfType × 10 to switch on the LEDs. The XLC4 control unit generates lower current levels than the lower limit MinCurrentOfType.
If the LEDs are on and the level of ACTRL is under the “switch on level”, the current is limited to MinCurrentOfType until ACTRL is under the “switch on level” minus 0.5 V. If ACTRL is below this limit, the LEDs are switched off.
The following diagram shows the behavior of the XLC4 control unit under the following condition:
MinCurrentOfType: 200 mA
MaxCurrentOfType: 1800 mA
NOTE
The range of MinCurrentOfType and MaxCurrentOfType can be limited by the connected Corona II modules.
Example:
A Corona II module with a maximum current of 1500 mA is connected to channels A and B.
A Corona II module with a maximum current of 1800 mA is connected to channels C and D.
With a level of 10 V at ACTRL the maximum current is 1500 mA at channels A and B and 1800 mA at channels C and D.
